great way to become comfortable with nude sunbathing is to go on vacation and
rent a private home or villa instead of going the resort route. You can find homes
listed in the back of Islands Magazine or Caribbean Life, and talk directly with
the owners, in many cases it will cost less to stay in a home, than going to a
resort. Be up front and tell them you are looking for privacey and want to nude
sunbathe so they understand what you mean by privacey. Ask where the nearest home
is, can you be seen in the home or on the deck from another home. Many homes are
close together but seperated by foliage. Ask if it is beach front, how often you
might see someone. If
you go to a beach that may have coves or an irregular coastline, find a cove or
rock outcropping and to either side put a bathing suit on a rock (if you can't,
find a branch and hang your suit from it) this will tell an approaching person
that there is someone nude around the corner, we have seen foot prints, but never
been walked in upon, if your uncomfortable having you suit out of reach, bring
a spare for that purpose. If
it is a larger, wide open beach, position yourself out in the open. This way you
can see someone coming from a distance away and put something on if you want.
If you use a path to access the beach always walk a distance away to settle in
so no one walks right on top of you. We always bring binoculars, not to spy on
people, but if we see someone comming we gan get an idea who they are and their
intent long before the get near us. If we are on the beach nude and someone approaches,
and sees that we are nude, if they continue to walk bye, we stay nude, if it does'nt
bother them, it does'nt bother us ( you would be amazed the people that walk bye
with a suit on and are carrying them on the return trip). The
most important thing to remember is, if someone sees you nude on a beach during
the day, unless they have a face to face conversation with you, they will NEVER
recognize you at dinner with your clothes on. And the odds of returning home and
seeing someone is, at best, remote. Go,
relax and enjoy. There is no greater feeling than being on a beach nude, if you
do it once, you will do it forever. One
unrelated tip, we finally gave up and made our own beach towel. We took three
towels and seewed them side by side, we fold it twice and roll it like a sleeping
bag, it's great! Happy
